Spain and Morrocco 2010-11, Part II

Trip update:  In Granada now, staying at an old convent on the grounds of the Alhambra.  I booked the hotel cuz it seemed like a great location and a historical building.  And it is indeed a great location, but they seem to have done everything in their power to make the inside as saccharine as a Days Inn.  Oh well.

Madrid was nice.  Saw Guernica.

Sevilla was nicer -- orange trees everywhere and nice cafes.  One thing that's nice about being here in winter is all the mountains are snow-capped.

Tomorrow is a big travel day -- train from Sevilla to Algeciras; then taxi to Tarifa; then the only 25-minute ferry ride to Tangier.
