I think it's pronounced, "Yogging"

We got up mad early and flew to Jogjakarta (sometimes pronounced Yogyakarta).  It didn’t take long for a tour guide to find us at the airport and offer up his services for the whole day.  It was before 9AM and we were already on our way from the Jogyakarta airport to Borobudur, the world’s largest Buddhist temple.  Borobudur is up there with Angkor Wat on places everyone must see once.  Inticrate carvings, countless stupas, and beautiful jungle all around.  Nice Indiana Jones vibe.

After Borobudur, we had an early lunch at Amanjiwo, that beautiful hotel I had seen online.  It was really nice and had a cool view of Borobudur in the distance.

From there, we went to Prambanan, one of the larger Hindu temples in the world.  Prambanan was always treated as the ugly stepchild in our guidebooks, but it’s really as cool as Borobudur.  Apparently, it was entirely restored in 2006 only to be ruined again by an earthquake.  It’s on it’s way back to restoration right now, and it’s still very cool.

We still had time to kill so we went to the ridiculously shitty “palace,” which wasn’t as nice as most motels, and then went back to the airport to fly to Bali…
